We run monthly pest control programmes for factories and warehouses in Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong and Dong Nai: rodent control with locked bait stations on the perimeter and traps inside, a residual treatment for crawling insects, misting for flying insects, and insect light traps where a survey shows they are needed. Food factories receive the full set of documents their audits ask for.
How a factory programme starts
- Survey. A technician walks the site with your team: perimeter, loading bays, raw material and finished goods stores, production areas, canteen, drains and waste areas.
- Proposal. We propose the number and position of rodent stations and traps, the treatment plan and, if needed, insect light traps. The number of light traps depends on the area and the openings; you decide whether to install them.
- Monthly visits. Treatment and inspection every month. Rodent stations and traps are checked every week, four times a month.
Methods
- Rodents: locked bait stations outside, around the perimeter and fence line. Inside the buildings we use traps only, unless you ask otherwise. A rodent that dies inside a production area or a racking void causes smell and contamination.
- Crawling insects: residual spray along wall bases, floor joints, drains and under racking. Insects that cross the treated surface carry the product back to where they shelter.
- Flying insects: ULV misting of external and waste areas. For large yards, thermal fogging.
- Warehouses: treatment under pallets, along the floor and the base of walls. See pallet management in a warehouse.
Documents for food factories
Food factories on a monthly programme receive:
- the schedule for the next month;
- a trend analysis report;
- the rodent station map and the light trap map;
- a service report for every visit;
- a chemical report with safety data sheets (MSDS);
- a record of corrective actions.
For what auditors look at, see preparing for a food safety audit. For contract terms, see what a factory pest control contract should include.
Timing
We work to your production schedule: between shifts, on a shutdown day or at the weekend. No fixed hours.
Common questions
Do you handle stored grain or product fumigation?
No. We do not fumigate. Our work is surface treatment, misting, traps and stations.
Can reports be in English?
Yes. Reports and maps are provided in English for foreign-owned factories.
